Yo! I’ve been seeing lots of great stuff around the run-o-sphere and follow several running blogs, so I wanted to start sharing those for readers. Read for a link roundup? I’m ready!

blarney stone half marathonBlarney Stone 5k, 10k, Half Marathon in Potterville, MI

First, some of us are headed to Potterville for the Blarney Stone 5k/10k/Half on 3/13. It benefits the Mid Michigan Cat Rescue, doesn’t start until 10am, there are free race photos, and a free post-run beer tent. Seriously. You should go sign up right meow.

Rather Be Runnin’ Blog

Second, you should check out the Rather Be Runnin’ blog from my new pal Ashley. We bonded over the fact that we have the same WordPress theme. Ha! But I’m all about e-meeting new runners, so maybe Ashley and I will be doing some blog sharing soon.

Michigan Runner Girl Weekend

running spa weekendThird, Michigan Runner Girl is having a whole MRG weekend! What!? “The MRG Weekend is open to all women who strive to live healthy, active lifestyles in our beautiful state. We’ll get to know one another on the road and trail, as well as through plenty of other great activities.” Doesn’t that sound awesome? I know so many amazing women who run. It would be cool to meet up all in one place. This is April 22-24 in Traverse City. If you’re interested, check out Heather’s post about it, or go straight to the event page.

Traverse City Trail Running Festival

traverse city trail running festivalFinally, are you coming to the Traverse City Trail Running Festival!? Because you should. Also April 22-23 weekend, this one’s at Timber Ridge in TC. Whether it’s warm or cold, snowy or muddy, we’ll be there. I’m planning on volunteering for the race while Walter wows everyone with his cuteness, and probably tries to eat mud or something. Ha! But it’s a fun race with lots of options for teams and different distances. The beer is always cold and the lodge is always warm, so you should definitely check it out.
